 What’s a jimmy jam? Sometimes I’ll get  my inspiration for desserts at The BonBonerie from  the memory of the pleasure of the simplest desserts from childhood . I used to seek out  a beautiful creation called a jim jam when Hostess cupcakes were the treat of the moment. The JimJam was a round yellow cake filled with a vanilla creamy filling. On the top was a thin raspberry glaze that was sprinkled with coconut. To improve on that we made our own ladyfingers that are glazed with a thin layer of  local raspberry jam from Clearbrook Farms then fill the center with a bounty of fresh vanilla whipped cream . A sprinkling of white chocolate curls finishes the top. Try one. They are a real summer FUN FOOD
